2022 – A Year in Review

2022 is almost over and it’s that time of the year again where we look back at the past 12 months to see all we’ve achieved and lessons learned. Being the first post-pandemic year, a lot of businesses made their way back in to their respective industries and we are proud to have been a part of many of these comeback stories.

Following is a look through our year and what we’ve been up to.

Some of our notable web and mobile application development projects in 2022

ILO S.T.A.R

The International Labour Organisation needed to develop an application which allowed beneficiaries of ILO programmes to establish their own baselines and endlines which could be used to chart individual change, and be aggregated to show the impact of the intervention as a whole. The web and mobile applications we built for them included the following features:

  • Customizable survey forms.
  • Survey data collection through mobile device and web.
  • Offline data collection on mobile devices.
  • Visual reporting on survey responses and comparisons between attempts.
  • User, Manager, and Admin accounts.

This custom web application was built using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and PHP on the Laravel Framework. The database is managed through MySql.

The Android mobile application was built using the Android SDK.

Sunshine Foundation

Sunshine Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1976 and headquartered in Southampton, PA. The company’s Mission Statement is to answer the dreams of the chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children ages 3 – 18 whose family cannot fulfill their requests due to financial strain that the child’s illness may cause.

We are currently building a proprietary web application for the foundation that will allow parents to register their children to receive help through an easy-to-use online application process. Admin will be able to review and approve applications using a custom-built admin portal.

The app is being built using the MERN stack of technologies.

PinMeh

PinMeh is an event management application based in the US that allows event owners to create and manage their events through a web and mobile app.

The web app and mobile app features include:

  • Create events with tickets, event location, and amenities.
  • Create GPS trackable event activities.
  • Location tracking for event attendees and activities during the event.
  • Buy tickets and pay for food, drinks, and merch during events.
  • Event social feed where users can post photos and videos from the events.
  • iOS and Android apps compatible with all versions of the OS on phones and tablets.

We built the responsive web application using HTML5, CSS, Javascript and Laravel. The native Android application was built using Android Studio and Android SDK while the iOS app was built using the iOS SDK.

You know how I feel about this firm, you know how I feel about all of you, but it is a privilege to be working alongside of you to build what we have built over the past years, and we will keep building. First, I would like to express how proud I am of the united team mindset to making Strategia Solutions a great organization and such an enjoyable place to work and achieve many successes.

Over the past year we have seen an increase in our footprints across web and mobile applications to managed and cloud-based services including program and project management. The reliability of the services that we provide, and the quality of the customer service we offer, defines us. Our platforms passed the test and we proved as an organization to be both robust and extremely flexible in the face of change.

As we close the chapter on a very successful 2022 and look forward to another exciting year; my main takeaway is gratitude. I am thankful for the comradery and support through all these years and thankful for the opportunities presented to us. We have truly taken each opportunity in stride and proven that we can take on any challenge and deliver results as long as we are in it together. Working with my family at Strategia Solutions has easily been the most fun I’ve ever had. I can’t believe this is ‘work’!

As always, I continue to learn something new every day from my distinguished colleagues and team. As our team and scale of work continues to grow, we continue to take each challenge down without skipping a beat. The processes that we have put in place have really stood the test of time and can take on anything that’s thrown at them.

Lastly, I would like to give a hand to all the clients and partners who we’ve worked with this year. To be able to work with such amiable people who are willing to work with us to ensure their vision is implemented has truly been a blessing. Another successful year in Strategia Solutions working with my partners and getting better at what we do. Our work structure and transparency in projects makes us far better than other companies and also makes every project enjoyable without feeling stressed.

This year has seen a big change in how we do things at Strategia Solutions and I’ve been humbled to be at the forefront of this new era we are now entering. Our processes are more robust, our quality control is centralized, and our ability to deliver the perfect results has increased manifold. I look forward to welcoming all the new additions to our team and work with them to build their careers while we grow Strategia Solutions as a unit.
