About the Project

Sunshine Foundation is a non-profit organization Headquartered in 101 Lakeside Park, Southampton, PA. The company’s Mission Statement is to answer the dreams of the chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children ages 3 – 18 whose family cannot fulfill their requests due to financial strain that the child’s illness may cause.

In order to solve the problem of displaying the latest events and children profiles, Strategia Solutions, LLC designed and developed a mobile application platform for the organization. Sunshine Foundation’s new mobile application platform would display the latest events and children profiles which also includes donation collection functionality.

The web app and mobile app features include:

• Newsfeed with latest events and children profiles.
• Inner event/child pages with sharing buttons and a sidebar showing:
  • Recent posts
  • Archives
  • Donate Link/Image
• Web Admin dashboard to create and edit posts.
• Donate page with form for payment through credit/debit card or Paypal.
• iOS and Android apps compatible with all versions of the OS on phones and tablets.

We built the responsive web application using HTML5, CSS, and WordPress. The native Android application was built using Android Studio and Android SDK while the iOS app was built using the Apple SDK.
